The Traditional Drum Playing Workshop provides an in-depth exploration of Sri Lanka's drumming traditions, emphasizing their cultural and historical significance. This workshop offers participants the opportunity to understand and engage with the role of drumming in Sri Lankan culture.

Participants will learn about the history of drumming in Sri Lanka, which dates back to ancient times when rhythms were used for communication, ceremonies, and storytelling. The workshop includes practical sessions where attendees can experience traditional drumming techniques and discover how this art form has evolved into a practice with therapeutic and meditative benefits.
